Beautiful Bella By Sea or By Land

Ever since I saw the first images of Lotta Jansdotter's Bella line, I have been pretty excited. I had also wanted to try a version of By Sea or by Land with borders, so when Bella was finally available, it seemed like the perfect fit.

The borders frame the waves of the quilt so nicely and really gives the pattern a new look. 

I had a lot of fun picking the fabrics out for the pattern and love how the Stripe Citron works as the sashing. I used Kona White and Kona Windsor for the borders.

A kit to make this quilt is now available here. It includes the pattern, the fabric for the front and back of the quilt and the supplemental instructions for adding the border to the pattern.
