Fabricworm Weekly Giveaway! Joel Dewberry Heirloom Fat Quarters!


Hello Fabricworms!

When the new Joel Dewberry came in, we all got very giddy, and thought we would share the joy with you! This week we will be giving away Joel Dewberry Heirloom Ruby Bundle in 13 Fat Quarters. Everyone has a chance to win, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post answering the question below and you will be entered to win. The Giveaway will end at 8:30am PST, Monday, August 1st. We will announce the winner later that same day. (The winner will be chosen by random.org)

I'm helping my 10 year old daughter make a patchwork 3-tiered skirt this week (as per Debra Moebes book "Stitch by Stitch), but I love patchwork pretty much anything. I would LOVE to make a quilt for our bedroom with this heirloom fabric - may need to paint a wall grape colour for that. Would be divine!

Anything! Sometimes I just start patching things together and see what inspiration strikes. I've made my tool apron, seat cushions, pouches, and placemats that way.

Most recently, I've been making patchwork kindle covers for me and a few family members. I love making quilts, but sometimes the quick results of a small project is rewarding and motivating!

I have made table toppers, Christmas ornaments, table skirts, stuffed toys for nieces and nephews, placemats...I think that's it, although I have a long list of things I'm hoping to make. Today I thought I should piece a cover for my scanner. Is that wacky?

That fabric bundle is making me drool - very delicious. Patchwork other than for quilting? My first patchwork was for a bag and I moved on to quilts from there!
