I don't twitter/tweet or facebook. Leaves me out. My favorite last minute gift is to BUY something, since I'm a slow poke ; ) I hand quilt, not machine quilt, so, last minute just doesn't work. Oh well.

key fobs or little zipper pouches are great quick gifts.

Tea wallets, mug rugs, and reusable shopping bags all make great last minute gifts. Last Christmas, I made 7 "extra" mug rugs, but by Christmas Eve, I was down to 1!

My favorite last minute gift is usually a tote bag of some sort! I can pick a novelty fabric that reflects the recipient and put one together in a matter of hours.

If I am in a huge hurry, I make pocket tissue holders or pillowcases. In both I would use a novelty fabric that matched the recipient's taste or hobby.

As an aside, I have some 'real' 1950's fabric in my stash. I use it very sparingly!!! But it has similar colors and I know it was one of my Mom's shirts! The print is of old cars and is adorable!

thanks for having this give-away!!!
my favorite baby gifts : burp rags ; grown up gifts : tissue holders for the purses , or mugrugs for those I already gave tissue holders for !

My last-minute gifts always seem to be for babies. I've discovered the simplicity of small blankets with a cotton print on one side and flannel on the other. A little hand-quilting to keep the batting in, and it's good to go!
